Indiana has more miles of Interstate Highway per square mile than any other state. But there is far more to this state than just mere arteries. With a population of 6.7M, Indiana has an economy that employs 3.11M people. It’s largest industries are restaurants and food services, elementary and secondary schools, and construction. It’s highest paying industries however, are paper and paper products wholesalers, pharmaceutical and medicine manufacturing, and petroleum refining.

Located in the south of the state, the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division employs approximately 3,300 people. It is the third largest naval installation in the world.
Indiana is renowned for its passion for sports, particularly basketball. Not only did it produce Larry Bird, but it is also home to the Indiana Pacers.

Indiana also hosts one of the most prestigious motor races globally, the Indianapolis 500. This is the largest single day sporting event on earth. It is held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and with 250,000 seats, it is the biggest sports venue on the planet.

Indiana also scores wins on expenses. It’s cost of living is 5% lower than the national average, whilst its cost of doing business is 6% under.
